 Power
Source: The New Area has four 110KA substations,
two 220KV substations and one 35KV substation in the
Export Processing Zone. The largest thermal power plant
in eastern China (Jianbi Power Plant with an installed
capability of 2.825million KV) is adjacent to the New
Area.
Water
Supply: There is one water plant with the daily
supplying capacity of 30 thousand tons. The expanding
project will be capable of supplying 100 thousand tons
with the first phrase project of 50 thousand tons.
Drainage:
A split-flow drainage system is adopted for rainwater
and wastewater. Rainwater drainpipes and sewage pipes
are laid respectively along the roads. There is a rainwater
drain pipeline along either side of the road. The diameter
of the pipe is from 400 to 1,500mm. The diameter of
the drainpipes is from 400 to 900mm.
Sewage
Disposal: there is a sewage plant with a planned
disposal capacity of 20,000 tons per day in Zhenjiang
New Zone. The first phrase project with a disposal capacity
of 10,000 tons has taken action.
Gas
Supply: Natural gas pipeline network in Zhenjiang
New Area has been available. It has a joint at the east
of Zhenjiang Export Processing Zone.
Telecommunications:
there are post offices and telecommunications
bureau with high-capacity stored program controlled electronic
telephone switching systems. IDD, fax transmission and
wide band network are available. Various kinds of networks
are accessible in Zhenjiang New Area, Post and telecommunications
pipelines are laid during the construction of roads. Mobile
communication networks cover the whole area.
Detection
Devices: The installed CCTV detection system
can proceed 24 hours Digital Continuing Recording for
the whole Zone including the quarantined fence. Guarders
and the Customs Assistants patrol aperiodically to secure
the companies in the Zone. Warehouse
and Standard workshop: The standard workshops
and the Customs supervised warehouse will service for
the companies.
